realising food secure communities in aotearoa

a review of locally-led reports, plans and strategies

Kore Hiakai Zero Hunger Collective embarked on a nationwide project looking at how localities realise food secure communities across Aotearoa, and the tools and levers that help each rohe to actualise this.

We reviewed 39 localised documents, produced by 30 organisations, about locally-led visions to become food secure; the barriers with our current food systems; enablers for realising food secure communities; and their aspirations to transform local food systems.

We are excited to present and share ‘Realising Food Secure Communities in Aotearoa: A review of locally-led reports, plans and strategies.
